Bombardier Challenger 600

Written by Vulcan. Posted in Commercial Jet Engined

The Bombardier Challenger 600 series are business jets designed by Bill Lear and produced first by Canadair until that company was bought by Bombardier Aerospace in 1986.

These are models of an aircraft for Qatar, the Swiss medical service Rega and in the Manufacturer’s original colours.

  • All aircraft are able to flare on landing using the V key;
  • They issue smoke from the tyres on landing if the Aircraft Action Trigger is placed on the track and set to setting 4;
  • The model in the Manufacturer’s colours is a startup model, initially the engines are stopped and the front door is open with the steps lowered. The B key will start or stop the engines and operate the door.

The Boeing 747-400 is a major development and the best-selling model of the Boeing 747 family of jet airliners. While retaining the four-engine wide-body layout of its predecessors, the 747-400 embodies numerous technological and structural changes to produce a more efficient airframe. Its most distinguishing features versus preceding 747 models are 6 feet (1.8 m) winglets mounted on 6 feet (1.8 m) wing tip extensions, which are found on all 747-400s except for Japanese domestic market versions.
