Some models have been designed as part of a larger project, and require explanation of how to get the most out of the models. You will find information on completed and on-going projects on these pages – use the links for information and help files for various models.
For the last couple of years now, my main focus has been on creating Flyable aircraft models. Simply because of the possible variety available within this category of vehicles I envisage that this will be one of those projects that will have no fixed finish date nor will it be limited by a specific number of assets.
The concept of making a Trainz layout within a room, to represent a Model Railroad. Choosing HO scale for instance, then using assets that are 87 times larger to make walls, cabinets, doors, floors and ceilings etc for the room. A tutorial and information on converting my Model Railroad to Trainz.
Ferry models based on the City Cat ferry system used in Brisbane. Static and drivable ferries, and landing terminals are available. The ferries are nameable and they load and unload passengers.
A system of transporting crude oil, using an oil rig, an oil loading platform and oil tankers (ships). It handles passenger transport using a tugboat and helicopters. A refinery completes the project, it unloads crude oil and LNG from ships for processing and dispatches refined Av gas, LNG and oil by rail tank cars.
A special request project, for models reflecting World War II German prison camps.
Operating Locks and Dry Docks, modeled as transfer tables. The page shows how to use and place the models, for ships operating on invisible track.
Functional ore dock loaders that load drivable barges (moved by tugboats) and ships, operating on invisible track. The ore docks are based on the Canadian structures, a gantry loader is based on the Gary Indiana industries and the Huellet unloaders as used at Gary Indiana, Lake Superior and Lake Erie, are available
A number of barges and ferries allow the transportation of rolling stick across water, the ship operate on invisible track placed at ground level (above the water level). The project information is in the form of a tutorial to place track and models and operate the ships.
This is a hydroelectric dam using spline models for the walls and spillways. Power stations, transformers, spillways and pipelines have included to make a complete and functional dam facility.
